The Aichi International Student Festa 2026 will feature Japanese cultural experience programs organized with the cooperation of student groups from universities across Aichi Prefecture.
This event offers the chance to experience Japanese culture through calligraphy and tea ceremony.

Both are highly popular Japanese cultural activities among international students!
Each session operates on a fully reservation-based system, so please apply early!

To participate in the Japanese cultural experience, please complete the following two applications:

1.Calligraphy Experience

Try authentic calligraphy using a brush, inkstone, and ink!
Write your favorite kanji or your name to experience Japan's ‟written culture!” (You also get to keep the work you create!)

■Number of Sessions：9 sessions (30 minutes each)
■Capacity：10 participants per session (first-come, first-served)
■Collaborating Organization：Aichi Shukutoku University Calligraphy Club
■What to Bring: Clothing that you wouldn't mind getting dirty is recommended

2.Tea Ceremony Experience

After learning aout tea ceremony etiquette, you'll get to watc matcha being prepared right before your eyes! Then, you will get to taste the freshly prepared matcha!
Finally, we'll introduce some “matcha spots” in Aichi Prefecture. Even if you're new to matcha, feel free to join us!

■Number of Sessions：8 sessions (30 minutes each)
■Capacity：10 participants per session (first-come, first-served)
■Collaborating Organization：Aichi Gakuin University Tea Ceremony and Flower Arrangement Club
■What to Bring：Nothing required

■Important Notes
・In addition to registering for the Aichi International Student Festa 2026, advance reservations are required for each activity.
・Please arrive at the experience venue at least 5 minutes before the start time. If you arrive late, your reservation may be canceled.
・Photos and videos taken on the day may be used in official prefectural communications.
